Participation and Eligibility


● Teams: Teams can consist of 1-3 members.
● Eligibility: All students (high school, college, university, etc.) can participate.

Competition Structure


● Time Limit: The hackathon will have a strict 20-hour time limit
● Theme Reveal: The hackathon's theme will be announced at the beginning of the event.
● Project Development: Teams will have 20 hours to brainstorm, design, develop, and
complete a functional project based on the given theme.


Submission Guidelines


● Submission Platform: Projects must be submitted through one of the following options by
the deadline:
○ The designated online platform (e.g., Devpost, GitHub)
○ All links provided must be accessible by the invaligators. Failing in doing so may cause disqualification.
○ A method specified by the organizers (if applicable)
● Submission Format: Projects can be submitted in a format suitable for demonstration and
evaluation (e.g., source code repository, executable file, presentation). A clear and concise
project description document is mandatory.
● Late Submissions: Late submissions will not be considered.


Development Tools and Resources


● Allowed Tools: Participants can develop their projects using any programming languages,
frameworks, and libraries.
● APIs and External Services: The organizers may allow the use of external APIs and
services with prior approval. Restrictions may apply.
● Pre-made Assets: Limited use of pre-made assets (e.g., code libraries, UI components) may
be allowed, but restrictions will be clearly outlined.


Evaluation Criteria


● Innovation: Originality of the project concept and its execution.
● Functionality: Completion of a working project that addresses the hackathon theme.
● Technical Merit: Quality of the code, design, and overall implementation.
● Impact/Potential: Potential real-world applications or positive impact of the project.
● Presentation: Clarity, creativity, and effectiveness of the project demonstration.

Code of Conduct


● Plagiarism: Plagiarism of any kind (code, ideas, resources) is strictly prohibited and will
result in disqualification.
● Collaboration: Collaboration within teams is encouraged. Sharing code or resources with
other teams is strictly prohibited.
● Sportsmanship: Participants must maintain a respectful and professional attitude towards
other teams and organizers.

Technical Issues


● Participant Responsibility: Participants should report any technical difficulties encountered
during the hackathon to the organizers immediately.
● Support: The organizers will provide limited technical support throughout the event.

Judges' Decision


● Evaluation: Projects will be evaluated by a panel of qualified judges.
● Finality: The judges' decisions are final and binding.

Time Management


● Strict Time Limit: The 20-hour time limit will be strictly enforced. No extensions will be granted

Disqualification


● Rule Violations: Any violation of these rules may result in disqualification.
● Misconduct: Disruptive behavior or any form of cheating will result in immediate
disqualification.


Awards


● Prizes: Based on the judges' evaluations, awards will be given to the top-ranking teams
(details to be announced).
● Recognition: All participating teams will receive certificates of participation.

● Accessibility: Efforts will be made to ensure the hackathon is accessible to participants with
disabilities. Please contact the organizers if you have any specific requirements.
● Modifications: The organizers reserve the right to modify these rules at their discretion.


Intellectual Property


● Ownership: Participants retain ownership of the intellectual property created during the
hackathon.
● License: By participating, participants grant the organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free
license to use, distribute, and display their projects for educational and promotional purposes.
